Blue Lit Stock

Blue Lit Shadow

Anxiety blooms in the blue-lit night,
Sleep escapes, lost to endless sight.

In the luminance of screens, bodies wither,
Forgotten vessels in the digital river.

Fewer friends, a lonely descent,
As virtual bonds replace the real, and torment.

Instant gratification, a shallow game,
Trading depth for pixels, what a shame.

Birth rates drop, as passions fade,
In the hollow echo of screens’ parade.

Vanity thrives, as mirrors multiply,
In the virtual world, where egos vie.

Harassed, bullied, behind a screen’s veil,
Humanity’s kindness begins to pale.
Societal ills from this addiction sprout,
As humanity’s essence is cast in doubt.

Yet within this chaos, hope still gleams
May we one day awaken from our digital dreams.
