Contest Details:
- Genre: Poetry (Open to all genres: love, nature, social issues, personal reflections, etc.)
- Poem Length: Maximum of 40 lines per poem
- Submission Deadline: September 2, 2014
- Eligibility: Open to poets of all ages and backgrounds
- Language: English
Prizes:
- 1st Place: $200 and publication in The Marginalia Magazine
- 2nd Place: $50 and publication in The Marginalia Magazine
- 3rd Place: $25 and publication in The Marginalia Magazine
Judging Process:
A panel of esteemed poets, literary critics, and enthusiasts will evaluate the submissions based on poetic technique, originality, imagery, emotional impact, and overall excellence. The judging process will be anonymous to ensure fairness and impartiality.
Terms and Conditions:
- By submitting your poem, you grant The Marginalia Magazine non-exclusive rights to publish your work on our website, social media platforms, or other promotional materials (with appropriate credit given to the poet).
- Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
- Multiple submissions are allowed per person. Please submit only one poem per entry fee.
