The grift is deep

President Trump’s grift is so deep and so flagrant we scarcely know how to handle it. Reading that he plans to accept a 400 million plane from the government of Qatar, feels like a headline more suitable for The Onion than real life. I seem to recall former Senator Robert Menendez being sentence to prison for accepting money from Egypt and Qatar – which was described as “shocking corruption.” Trumps plane would be a mere eight hundred times more valuable than the gifts accepted by Menendez.
